Mixing Definitions

Unfortunately understand conflicting definitions of nanotechnology and the blurring of distinctions between the many different areas, the commitment to the politics of difference and development have complicated sensory effect.

The risks of nanotechnology, today (the toxicity of nanoparticles, etc.). It can not be treated as a threat of long-term molecular manufacturing (economic disruption, unstable arms race, etc. ..) CE 'an error in putting together a pot to throw in the review of policies, each important to address, but have different problems and require different solutions. As the term nanotechnology is used today, usually in a large collection of mostly disconnected fields. Virtually everything that can be described as nanotechnology small and interesting. Much of it is harmless. For the rest, much of the damage limited and the quality is unknown. But, as we shall see, molecular manufacturing will bring and unknown risks and new classes of problems.
